A sunset and a storm on Kuta beach.

My surf instructor, long board, and me.

A sight for sore eyes!!!! This old woman took off all her cloths and just started digging in the fiery sand (akin to hot coals). She didn't stop until she had a grave size hole, then she quickly leaped into the pit, and buried herself up to her belly button. The final touch was when she put on her Ben Franklin spectacles - I believe this is a daily ritual for her, & can't explain why some one would want to subject their naked flesh to sand so hot that it burns the soles of your feet in mere seconds.

The famous Ulu Watu, which boasts the largest waves in Bali.

Behind me if you look very closely you can see surfers at work.

Fine dining in Seminyak at Ultimo's - where a 5 course meal with beef tenderloin only sets you back $6.

Khaima, a Moroccan restaurant in Seminyak - very tasty, but it can't play ball with Ultimo's filet mignon.

My girlfriend and I after a Moroccan feast.

Don't settle for a night cap, instead finish the evening with a hookah (Khaima had all the bells and whistles of a proper Moroccan establishment).

A friendly visitor to my room
